Rouge Summit, a tournament series dedicated to raising money for charity, returns to SideQuest Gamers Hub at Elephant and Castle from May 29th to the 31st for it’s second year anniversary and the 8th event in the series.
Each event has a special theme with this event being a Civil War between two of the organisers for the tournament – Asura and VAFD – with players invited to take part in a tournament over the 3 days, as well as a crew battle between Team Asura and Team VAFD.
Previous events have had different fighting games involves, such as Dragon Ball FighterZ, but the main focus for this event is Super Smash Brothers Ultimate with a 24 person double elimination bracket, a crew battle – and new for the Rouge Summit; an event involving Beyblade X.
Over the last two years, the team over at Rouge Summit have managed to raise over £2000 for the charity Project HOPE – a global health & humanitarian organisation that helps provide aid and relief during disasters, conflicts and health emergencies. This Rouge Summit is aiming specifically to raise money for Project HOPE’s current relief efforts for the Myanmar and Thailand 7.7 magnitude earthquake that happened earlier in the year.

Donations are currently live for the event with the team setting a goal to raise £500 across the 3 days the event will be held, with everything from the event being streamed on Twitch.
